The Dcode presentation showcases the next wave of contemporary Indian artists who are redefining the boundaries of abstraction and innovation through their mastery of materials. This curated collection features dynamic works that blend bold colors, experimental forms, and compelling themes, offering a thought-provoking exploration of modern artistic expression. Each piece challenges conventions, inviting viewers to engage with new perspectives and creative possibilities in the evolving landscape of contemporary art.

Aditya Chadar : Aditya Chadar, born in Indore in 1998 and holding a BFA and MFA from the Government College of Fine Arts, uses acrylic-based art to capture emotional nuances of nature and urban life in his figurative pieces, inviting viewers to reflect on individuality and societal roles through intertwined memories and present experiences.

Sameer Parekh : Sameer Parekh, an award-winning photographer specializing in beauty, portraiture, and advertising, has shot campaigns for major brands across North America, Europe, and Asia, and brings a multidimensional, intercultural approach shaped by his diverse experiences in India, Africa, and cities like Los Angeles, London, New York, and Mumbai.

Rajnish Channesh : Rajnish Chhanesh, an artist from New Delhi, explores the intricate relationship between humans and nature through ecologically informed artworks that focus on transformation and reclamation, using innovative color layering to express the complex beauty of the natural world and his unique perception of it.

Harisha Chennangod : Harisha Chennangod, a contemporary artist from Kasaragod, Kerala, specializes in minimalist abstract artworks, blending intentional maximalism with mindful simplicity.With a Master’s in Museology from MSU, Baroda, he has exhibited extensively in India and internationally, participating in notable shows and residencies.

Megha Madan : Megha’s artistic practice transformed through motherhood as she reflected on her late mother and their relationship, using mixed-media works with linear compositions and overlapping text to create a visual dialogue that reconnects her with cherished childhood memories and explores her mother’s emotions.

Julie Kagti : Julie Kagti, a textile design graduate from Sophia Polytechnic, now leads her own studio focused on promoting Northeast India’s tribal crafts and culture, showcasing the resilience of emerging artisans at global and local summits.

Vijaya Chauhan : Vijaya, a distinguished artist and Post-Diploma holder in Printmaking from MS University, Baroda, creates impactful works using durable materials and tactile elements, integrating Braille and typewriter text to emphasize the balance between social and moral behavior while engaging with themes inspired by her visually impaired friends.

Gayatri Halder : Gayatri Acharjee Halder, born in Diamond Harbour, West Bengal, uses needlework on paper to explore environmental degradation and celebrate nature’s resilience, conveying messages of harmony and serenity through her art and recognized with awards like the National Best Entry Prize for Drawing and Pastel Work.

Khanjan Maru Soni : Khanjan, a Post-Diploma holder in Printmaking from MS University, Baroda, is a distinguished artist recognized for her award-winning work that reflects her emotions through the theme of metamorphosis, capturing the journey of personal growth and resilience amid the complexities of life.

Kopal Seth : Kopal Seth, an artist from Khurai, Madhya Pradesh, merges ancient forms with modern geometric abstractions in her internationally recognized work, addressing themes of overpopulation, architecture, and environmental impact while fostering reflection on the tensions between tradition and urbanization through tactile clay and fabric pieces.

Rewati Shahani : Rewati Shahani, a Mumbai-born artist based in London, explores themes of displacement and diaspora in her series ‘Exodus’ through abstract maps, photographic prints, and earthen sculptures that critique ethno-political boundaries and envision a future free from forced migration.
