Sareena Khemka

Sareena Khemka is a Bangalore-based artist whose work explores the tensions between construction and decay, nature and the urban. Using materials like crystals, bacteria, and found objects, she creates sculptures and installations that resemble modern ruins—fragile yet evolving forms shaped by time and environment.
Her research-driven practice blends drawing, sculpture, science, and technology to examine how urban spaces transform. Inspired by cities she’s lived in, including Mumbai, Chicago, and Bangalore, Khemka reimagines
remnants of architecture and geology as landscapes in flux, inviting reflection on impermanence, preservation, and regeneration.
