Meera is an artist and founder of Banjaaran Studio, where her journey with leather began over a decade ago through handcrafted footwear. Today, her namesake studio ‘e’ explores leather as a sculptural and emotional language —shaped by memory, silence, and time.
Drawing from traditional leathercraft and India’s rich material legacy, Meera’s contemporary practice transforms leather into vessels of feeling and form. Her work is slow, intentional, and deeply rooted in the belief that material holds memory, emotion, and quiet power.
