Divya Pamnani is a Bombay-based artist working in a contemporary style rooted in the traditions of Indian miniature painting. With a background in Psychology and Public Health, she transitioned from the non-profit sector to a full-time art practice in 2020.
Her training includes time at the New York Academy of Art and Jnanapravaha, as well as hands-on apprenticeship with Master Artist Mahaveer Swami in Rajasthan. Drawing from the techniques of the Bikaner
School, she works with handmade wasli paper, natural pigments, and fine squirrel-hair brushes.
Influenced by her experience as a scuba diver, Divya’s intricate, meditative compositions explore themes of balance, beauty, and transcendence. Her work blends traditional methods with personal symbolism, offering a quiet, joyful reflection on the interconnectedness of life.
