Vijaya, a Post-Diploma holder in Printmaking from MS University, Baroda, is a distinguished artist celebrated for her impactful work. With accolades such as the Lalit Kala Award for Graphics in both the Artist and Student categories, her art is showcased in numerous exhibitions across India and the UAE, and is included in various private collections. Her work deeply reflects her emotions and explores the theme of metamorphosis, illustrating personal growth from childhood to adulthood and the challenges of change as a means of survival.

Vijaya’s art emphasizes the balance between social and moral behavior, using durable materials like stone, terracotta, and ceramics. Her innovative approach incorporates Braille text and outdated technologies like the typewriter, highlighting the intersection of communication and art. Inspired by her experiences with visually impaired friends, Vijaya integrates tactile elements into her sculptures, creating pieces that offer a sensory dialogue. Her work, combining visual and tactile art, provides an earthy and natural impression, engaging both the sighted and visually impaired through a unique blend of form and meaning.
