Zoya Chaudhary

Zoya’s art is an exploration of the interface between the internal and external worlds. She views her cut-out work as a filter—a discerning apparatus that mediates and interprets the complexities of the world. Her series “Entropy” explores the balance between order and disruption, fostering new possibilities. These works reflect on a dynamic networked-pattern making process- focused on the idea of ‘play’, where forms evolve from micro units, breaking away from initial geometric structures. The stamped text on some of the works is inspired by Carl Jungs quote ‘In all chaos there is a cosmos, in all disorder a secret order.
Zoya Chaudhary, born in 1982 in India and now residing in Singapore since 2011, is a versatile artist exploring subjectivity, perception, and memory through mediums such as installation, video, collage, and painting.
